The first craft is Drinking Straw Mobile. Get drinking straws, paper clips, construction papers with many colors and Scissors. In the beginning slip a paper clip on the middle of a straw to form the basic unit of the mobile. Then, make the same step near each end, after that make many similar units in the form of a chain. Be careful that the mobile be balanced by moving the paper clips over. Finally, cut the colored construction papers into stars, sun and moons in the shape of croissant. Hang them at the terminals of the mobile that it will look great when you hang it from the ceiling.

The second craft from the drinking straws is Hawaiian Flower Lei. Your daughters will be so happy with those colorful leis. The materials that you will need to do this are thick paper, printer, drinking straws, yarn, paint, markers and glitter. First, make many flowers with holes in their centers from the thick paper. Second, you can decorate those flowers by paints or markers or glitter as you wish it’s your own touch. Third, cut drinking straws into equal segments. Fourth, tie a thick knot at one end of a piece of long yarn then keep threading the flowers and the straw segments one after one till the yarn is fully filled. Fifth, after you finish threading, tie the two yarn ends together to obtain a beautiful Hawaiian necklace for your daughters.

The third craft is Puppet Craft also from drinking straws. Not only puppets that you can make them, also you can make animals, fruit and Disney characters. The materials needed are Styrofoam trays, drinking straws, tape, construction paper, yarn and glue stick. Also you will need scissors and markers in making this craft. The first step is cleaning the Styrofoam tray with warm water and detergent. The second step is drawing the outline of the chosen thing using templates and marker. The third step is making the puppet’s details with the construction papers then glues them on the puppet. You can use yarn to make hair or whiskers. The final step is sticking your Styrofoam puppet to the end of a drinking straw. Now it looks a beautiful puppet for your children.
