It is good to remember our lovely heroes’ .Veterans Day ,the day is set aside to thank and honor to living veterans who served their country honorably during war or peacetime. In each country, the day is usually marked with parades, ceremonies, quotes and speeches – and a moment of silence – due to the important historical significance of that day and to honor those men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their nations in the two World And to remember the begging day of peace. A day to tell our children what would happen if that day did not exists. Veterans Day is an annual United States holiday meant to honor individuals who have served in the armed forces. A federal holiday, it is observed on November 11. It is also celebrated as Armistice Day or Remembrance Day in other parts of the world, falling on November 11, the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice that ended World War I(referred to simply as The Great War ).

The actual fighting between the Allies and Germany, had ended seven months earlier with the armistice, at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918 with the German signing of the Armistice.) World War I officially ended on June 28, 1919, with the signing of the Versailles. It was signed. To end the war to end all wars but the peace did not last, the date gained recognition throughout the western world.

 “Armistice Day” on Nov. 11, 1919, the first anniversary of the end of World War I. Congress passed a resolution in 1926 for an annual observance, and Nov. 11 became a national holiday beginning in 1938.
Veterans Day is one of two patriotic national holidays which is observed on the same day every year. The other one is Independence Day, July 4.Veterans Day is not to be confused with Memorial Day- (the fourth Monday in May) honors American service members who died in service to their country or as a result of injuries incurred during battle,.
