How to make a photo pillow at home

Creating a customized pillow with picture is easier than you think. Follow these simple steps to design your own unique pillow.

🧵 Supplies You’ll Need:

  • A large piece of cloth
  • Small pieces of colored fabric
  • Needle and scissors
  • Colored threads
  • Cotton or fiber filling
  • Pencil
  • Printed picture of your choice
  • Melted wax (for transfer)
  • Zipper

First; you will take the big piece of cloth and cut it to be 55 cm. width and 110 cm. length.

Second; flood the piece of cloth into two halves then use the iron and the printed picture to make picture copied on one half of the cloth. Don’t forget to sew the two halves from all sides except one.

Third; frame the printed picture with colored threads to make beautiful outstanding image. This adds a beautiful handmade touch and makes your pillow designs stand out.

Forth, you can make some decorations such as flowers using the small pieces of colored cloth. Fifth, sew them on the craft from three sides and leave the forth side free. The fourth and fifth; steps are optional..

Sixth; sew a zipper on the open side to be easily filled or emptied.

Finally; fill the pillow with fiber until it becomes soft and comfortable.
