Happy New Year! It’s a fast start for 2014. January 2014 will feature two new moons: Jan. 1 the New Year (the first day of the Gregorian calendar) and Jan. 30 the Chinese New Year (the first day of the lunar calendar).
On the first month of a New Year whether it was the first day of the Gregorian calendar or the first day of the lunar calendar, all of us think about the future especially in this coming year. We wondered what is awaiting us. Is it good? Bad? Are we going to reach what we want? I think most of you have asked yourselves these questions. These thoughts get on our minds especially on January as it is the first month in a New Year. January is a month like any other one. Some people have exams, others bring a baby, others are working and others are going to get married. There are some who will do nothing just watching movies. It’s your own decision. You choose what should be done or which the best of various possible actions for you is. But my advice is to start a new thing. Make this month different from any other one. This month is the start of the coming New Year so try to be a good seed for new plant (year). You may take a decision to start a new business or study something new. Even if it’s hard to do this, you may just try to think in a different way, change your mind or work on your skills. The first question you want to ask me “How”. How I can do this. I will tell you about a way to help u in doing this. Get a paper and divide it into five sessions. First section will be step one. Write in it small message to your mind “Be optimistic and don’t get down. You will succeed.” Step two; write all things you want to achieve in this year. Notice that it must be logic things. Step three; write all what you need for doing this. Also write your skills already have them. Step four; write the problems that may face you later on. Step five; think about a solution for each problem. While thinking; remember the first step and your message to your mind.
Finally, just work on it seriously. Five steps can change your way of thinking to start new life. Or give you hope to continue it. Don’t think about passed years or even what’s coming on the future. Whether you succeed or not, you will find yourself better after doing this. You would gain more skills and pass at least one aim. I notice that, God has got a purpose in everything. He protected us from knowing the future so we can enjoy the present with its happiness and live through its misery, to enjoy good moments. So thank God for everything he has given us and all the good he has created for us and ask him to forgive us if we don’t know its value now.
