Banys Arabs, (Arab Baths);
They were probably part of a nobleman’s house in the 10th century and are similar to those found in other Islamic cities. The Arab Baths are one of the few remaining examples of Muslim architecture in Palma and were known as The Arab City of Medina Mayurqa.

The Arab Baths architecture has a dome in the shape of a half orange, with 25 different round shafts to let in the beam of the sun light, supported by a dozen columns. The Arab Baths had a courtyard designed full of palm trees and orange trees would have made a pleasant place to cool off after a hot bath.

The Cathedral of Palma de Mallorca ( La Seu);

The Cathedral of Majorca is the largest religious building and major architectural landmark in the island of Majorca, located at the edge of the bay of Palma.

Its construction began around 1300 by King James III of Aragon in 1229 on the site of a pre-existing Arab mosque (mosque of Medina Majorca) capital of Muslim Mallorca for three centuries. Work continued for 400 years. It is characterized by its three naves and three apses .

Serra de Tramuntana (the ‘jewel in the crown’ on the Mallorcan Island):

A range running breathtaking beauty situated on the North Western strip of Mallorca which forms the northern backbone of the Spanish island of Mallorca. The Tramuntana Range was awarded World Heritage Status by UNESCO under the Cultural Landscape category on the 27th June 2011.

The landscape shaped by man whose character (agricultural terraces and inter-connected water works – including water mills – as well as dry stone constructions and farms) was the result of the action and reaction of natural and/or human factors.
