December is the month of many festivities as the Christmas season and other important ones. Some of the most important festivals and events held in Mexico is the festivities of La Virgin de Guadalupe, Our Lady of Guadalupe, on December 12. December 12. The monumental atrium which is circular structure is 100 meters (330 feet) in diameter, begins to fill up the attendance can easily top 2 million on that day.
The Feast of Guadalupe is celebrated in the heart of the advent season, the season of hope and of longing giving this season deeper meaning for the community.
